We invite seniors to a new series of free meetings combined with educational workshops and health advice for older people. On Saturday, January 25th , the first classes will take place, during which seniors will discover a recipe for longevity.
"Active senior" is a new series of meetings prepared especially for the needs of the elderly. On January 25th , there will be 5 hours of free educational workshops waiting for seniors, which will take place for the first time this year under the slogan "Recepty na długowiecznosc".
During the event, you will be able to talk to a dietitian who will discuss, among others excess and deficiencies in the diet of the elderly. Affordable advice on the principles of balanced nutrition, nutrients or the role of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, water and vitamins will certainly be useful to any senior. During the meeting, you will also be able to do a body fat test and determine your body mass index.
Can senior play sports? Specialists will also answer this question and give tips on which form of activity to choose, and how to take care of a healthy heart. There will also be physical activities for seniors with the participation of a personal trainer who will show exercises that seniors can later do at home alone. The attraction of the day will be a musical surprise with Steffi Mal. She is a well-known Bydgoszcz singer who belongs to a group of seniors who maintains good health and fitness due to a change in eating habits and systematic activity.
The next meeting will take place on February 29th , and its theme will be the internet and the world of computers.
